Stephanie and Sus look lovely on the side steps of Holy Trinity Brompton church in London's Kensington neighborhood (that's her fiance Jon's church, where he's a vicar and she's soon to be a vicar's wife!)
Sus waits for a bus.
Stephanie used a scary electric toilet in a big steel electric box and is about to push the button to get out of the box (thankfully it worked). There's a 20 minute time limit, as you can see from the remaining time, she was quick to get out of there. We're wondering what happens after 20 minutes ... do the doors fly open and reveal someone sitting on the pot?
A cool mural on a building in the Soho neighborhood of London (near Picadilly Circus).

Is it cold in England?
I am sooooo jealous but happy for you.
Actually, the last few days have been lovely (see, I am already talking like a native!) It's chilly when the sun is behind clouds but we've actually had tons of sun. Today we went from freezing while in the Tate Modern art museum (the doors let in cold drafts ... or draughts, as the English would spell it) while the steel walls blocked the sun. But we were warm while walking around in our little dresses and sweaters, and when we went up in the London Eye (a giant Ferris Wheel thing where you are in little bubbles and can walk around seeing the city) it was baking hot because of the sun in our little glass capsule. Nikhita says this has been some of the best weather of the summer, which she calls "the absolutest worst summer I've ever seen in my life" because of all the rain, dark and cold. I arrived at just the right time!
Right now I am sitting at a sidewalk cafe (read: pavement cafe) on the main road (high street) in Streatham, a neighborhod in South London. I am wearing jeans and a sweater and am quite comfortable. It's a busy street and there is actually a KFC across from me, but there are plenty of other little shops that are completely unfamiliar, as well. I am staring down a side street that's simply a descending hill of whie row houses with grey peaked roofs and the sun has just set, so the sky behind those roofs has just gone from rosy pink to a muted purply grey with an orange glow. Giant, red double-decker buses keep roaring past me and a girl wearing hot pink leg warmers over her skinny leg jeans and with hot pink high heels is smoking a cigarette across from me. Incidentally, you would not believe how much Londoners are into the whole 80s fashion revival thing. Some of it is kind of cute but some of it is frankly terrifying: Sus and I saw a girl Sunday on the Tube (subway) who literally was wearing a silver, metallic, spaceman skirt and sleeveless top with giant pink belt, pink tights (I think) and big moon boots. Then, today, at the Tate Modern art museum I saw a middle-aged, not thin woman wearing royal blue stirrup pants (yes, stirrup pants) with little white hearts all over them and flip flops. In a way I admire her for her spunk, but most of me wants to call the Fashion Police. Yes, I am a snob. :)
